J*A*Mn Kids Worship

Children today witness adults and older siblings worshipping, but they don't understand the why, what, and how to worship.  Kids Worship is designed to help children answer the questions they undoubtedly have through active participation AND to prepare them for participation in adult worship the first Sunday of each month.

Our Kids Worship highlights the important elements of the adult worship experience.  Children (age 3 through 5th grade), along with youth assistants and adult leaders, gain experience in leading the Welcome and Announcements, Praise Response, Music, Prayer and the Lord's Prayer, The Apostles' Creed, Offering and Ushering, as well as reading the day's Bible Scripture.  Our 3rd through 5th graders also have the opportunity to be trained to set up and run the audio/visual equipment for each service.

Once worship has concluded, children participate in various fellowship activities which may included movies, crafts, stories, or games in order to form friendships and strengthen bonds between children and their leaders.

Kids Worship meets the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday of each month, unless otherwise noted on the calendar.

Young children must be completely toilet trained and able to sit through worship service.
