During
Worship (10:00 a.m.)
We believe that
children can learn by experiencing worship for themselves. They grow in their
faith by observing and learning from adults, so we
encourage children in worship services.
The 2nd,
3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month we will offer a special
part of the service called the Children’s Moment.
The
Children’s Moment will provide an
age-appropriate children’s message at a designated time during the service by a
children’s ministry volunteer, and will be followed by adult-supervised games,
crafts, and activities in the Fellowship Hall.
If you
would like your children to continue worshipping in “big” church following the
children’s moment, feel free.*
However, we
realize that children may need some things to do to keep their hands busy while
sitting in worship, so we
have “worship buddies” – bags filled with activities available in the narthex.
*If your child becomes especially restless or disruptive, we encourage you to
take him/her to the narthex, Fellowship Hall, or nursery (ages 4 and under).
