Donations given for Tuskawilla UMC’s First Sunday Food Drive will be delivered by volunteers to support and stock the Hope's Pantry at Hope Helps Oviedo.

Hope Helps Oviedo provides a number of services for persons in need and/or experiencing homelessness. By supporting Hope's Pantry with donations from our church family, we strengthen our presence and partnerships in the communities well as support Hope Helps Oviedo in the excellent service they provide.

Tuskawilla UMC welcomes food donations on the First Sunday of each month in the shopping carts outside the Sanctuary Building or on any Sunday morning or Wednesday evening in the Family Room.

Suggested items include:

Canned Beans and Dry Beans
Peanut Butter or other Nut Butters
Rolled Oats and Whole Grain, Low-sugar Cold Cereals
Canned Fruit in juice
Canned Vegetables, with no or low-sodium
Low-sodium Soups and Stews
Canned Tuna in water
Canned Chicken
Nuts and Dried Fruits
Shelf Stable Milk and Milk Substitutes
Whole Grain Pasta and Low-sodium Pasta Sauce
Unsweetened Apple Sauce
Boxed Macaroni and Cheese
